"Sweety Dahling" came to me as a result of spending an entire Sunday watching Absolutely Fabulous. For those of you unfamilar with the debauchery that is this show, shame on you. I was first introduced to this show at a young age by my British mother and have since consistently tried to base my life on the teachings of Eddie and Patsy. This blog, I hope will reflect these life lessons.

Request

I'm under strict instruction from my mother to post more. Apparently she thinks she can still tell me what to do...haha...just kidding mum...of course you can tell me what to do...I just may not listen..however I do appreciate your advice :)

Anyway....I spent most of last week in a drunken/hungover daze...which made for a very long week...although really it was only from Wednesday onwards...it just felt like the whole week. Though I did have a lot of fun dancing with the gay boys at
Hydrate and rocking to Amy Ray at the Abbey, so that's the most important thing.

This week has been quiet so far....I found my way back to the gym on Monday night...shock..horror! I had quite the extended hiatus.

They have a whole new juice/salad bar thing in there now..nice. Working out definitely makes me feel better, so I'm going to try and get back into a routine...it should be easier now that it's getting cold and dark and the prospect of sitting outside enjoying a beer has disappeared...at least for the next 6 months...boo

This post is decidedly boring...I apologize...and so far the font's all buggered up and is pissing me off....

I'm meeting up with some friends tonight to watch what could be the last game of the World Series. I'm completely indifferent to the whole thing...but it's a good excuse for a social gathering on a Wednesday night...however I must employ whatever will power I have left so as not to drink too much as I have to umpire the state semi finals tomorrow...apparently the high school coaches think I'm good and voted for me to do the games...yay me. :)
So I will try to be on my best behavior tonight.....

Well...that's going to have to be it for today, I have a shit load of work to do and since I won't be in until late tomorrow I'd best be off to tackle it...blah. At this point in time, I'd rather rip my fingernails off.

Sigh

Here's an amusing story

--------- Couple's Banners Leave Drivers Hanging -----------
BRIGHTON, East Sussex - A fighting couple who decided to
take their argument outside - by hanging banners over a
bypass bridge - have announced they are now back together.
Drivers who had been following the row for weeks found out
that the couple are lesbian lovers. The whole incident began
with a banner that read "Wendy, I want a divorce. JSB." A
reply came that said "No way, you're the cheat. Wendy." The
third read: "I reckon we should meet." The final banner
announced they are "back together" - and revealed their
identities as Wendy and Jenny. One driver said, "It
certainly was an unusual lovers' tiff."

I'm Incredibly Talented

Ok fine....I used a stencil and cut the cat's leg and tail off....but other than that I'm good :)

In other news...yesterday a co-worker of mine came into my office and showed me the hole in his jeans which just so happened to be right on his ass....he then proceeded to tell me "you like that huh?"

Guest Blogging

I've been asked to guest blog for Jenny whilst she is on holiday in London. So I'll be over in my homeland (albeit vicariously through the web) for this week and haven't decided if I will be posting here as well, because let's face it, I'm not quite interesting enough to babble away on two blogs :)

Happy Birthday to my Mummy...although technically it's not her b'day anymore where she lives, but oh well.

Birthday Bender

I think I've finally recovered from my b'day party. What a sordid, debaucherous affair! I don't think I've ever seen so many of my friends so completely shitfaced all at the same time. It was spectacular and I had so much fun...from what I can remember :) Anything that ends with my drinking champagne from the bottle on my way home at 4am had to of been good right? There also appears to be a bevy of boob photographs going around....I have no idea who started it but everyone at the party got in on it and it seems to have ended with a number of my friends signing my chest....Happy Birthday to me!

Oh look, I fell....surprise :)

Needless to say I woke up on Sunday morning with a more heinous than usual hangover. I also found myself still wearing my jeans and shirt from the night before. According to my roommate we got home and I was carrying on about wanting pizza apparently forgetting that it was 4am and nothing would be open. So roomie decided to make garlic bread and when it was ready came into my room to find me completely passed out still dressed (although I had managed to take my boots off) and not even her flicking my light on and off was enough to rouse me. Thanks for the garlic bread anyway :) So on Sunday morning I managed to get up, shower, make nasty greasy food (all whilst walking around bent over to try and placate my pounding head) and relocate to the couch in my pj's where I stayed until bedtime. What a way to spend my actual b'day...ha.

I think I'll save face and not post anymore of the night's pictures ;)

Thanks to everyone who came, you guys are awesome.

The Boob is out of the office for the next two days...I am truly blessed, except for the fact that idiot co-workers still can't seem to find my Inbox.

Short

Things I'm Cranky about:
  1. Insufferable cramps
  2. Turning 25 this Sunday...I'm hoping some kind of epiphany will hit and I will miraculously transcend this holding pattern I find myself trapped in
  3. The Usual Suspects at work
  4. Almost throwing up last night even though I only had 4 drinks...ok five...must have been the red headed slut shot
  5. Turning 25 this Sunday
  6. Elbow still hurting
  7. Dry skin on my hands
  8. Persistent Adult acne
  9. Not being able to sleep last night due to relocation to the couch b/c of visiting friend
  10. Turning 25 on Sunday

Things I'm not Cranky about:
  1. Seeing my old roommate from college last night whom I haven't seen in about 2.5 years...it was so fun
  2. Leaving work in 1.5 hours to go get my hair done...I love my hairdresser she gives nice relaxing head massages
  3. That it's Friday
  4. Looking forward to B'day party tomorrow even though I'm dreading the whole quarter of a century, what am I doing with my life, bullshit.
  5. Bowling fun tonight

That's it for now...I'm tired...have a good weekend everyone :) I have no idea what the gorillas are about.
